If you are coming from the north via the Brenner Pass …
Leave the A22 motorway at the Sterzing-Vipiteno tollbooth and follow the SS12 state road towards Brixen. After passing the villages of Freienfeld/Trens and Mauls, you will see the Bistro Griesser after a few 100 m on the right-hand side of the road. Just before the bistro, turn right into the side street and follow the signs with the Griesser label.

Leave the A22 motorway at the Bressanone-Brixen tollbooth and follow the SS12 state road towards Sterzing for the next 15 km. Pass the imposing fortress in Franzensfeste, via Mittewald to the Bistro Griesser, which can be seen on the left side of the road. Immediately after the bistro, turn left and follow the signs for Griesser.
